Coloured bath resurfacing in Botesdale, done in place
Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites, and people most often call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is normally a fraction of the price, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Why us?

DIY repairs versus a professional job
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
What happens on the day
You don’t need to empty the room. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and start once you are happy with the plan. It generally takes one to two days for a full suite, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, typically ready the next day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Let us know about parking or access
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

Honest limits
We would rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.
Materials we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
When to call us in Botesdale
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
Before booking anyone

- How long it needs to cure
- How the room is protected while they work
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
FAQs for Botesdale
Can pets and children be at home?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We will tell you when the room can be used again.
Which areas do you work in?
Everywhere in the UK, Botesdale included. Travel is included in the price.
How quickly can you book me in?
That depends on our diary for your area. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before.
Will the price change on the day?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Normally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- The material
- How many areas need work
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Send photos for a quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- The material, if you know it
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
