Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Bradford-on-Avon

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We work on coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Bradford-on-Avon as everywhere else we work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. You will not pay by the hour. The price depends on:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • The material
  • How much damage there is
  • Doing more than one item at once

We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Quotes from your pictures

Phone photos are fine, there is no need for anything special. Just make sure we can see:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before

We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you’ll get a fixed figure back.

Bradford-on-Avon: your questions answered

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Do you cover the entire of Wiltshire?

Across the UK. Our prices are the same everywhere.

Is there a guarantee?

All our work carries a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just ensure the landlord agrees.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the photos cannot show what we need.

How do I book?

Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.

Is it messy?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.

When we’d advise against a repair

Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs will not solve:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.

Materials we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays

The process

From the moment we arrive, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes one to two days for a full suite, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Bradford-on-Avon

Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Bradford-on-Avon use us as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it costs much less than replacing.

We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access.

Repair or replace in Bradford-on-Avon?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Bradford-on-Avon. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

What you get with us

  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • A fixed quote before booking
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
