Coloured bath resurfacing for Buckpool homes

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Buckpool

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We’re often asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and whole bathroom suites.

You are covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before booking. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

The process

On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. Expect it to take a day or two, depending on how many items. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible

Getting a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day.

Will it make a mess?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Buckpool

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour

What your quote should include

  • Whether the colour is mixed to match
  • How long the guarantee is and what it covers
  • Who turns up on the day
  • What protection goes down before work starts

How to compare quotes

What affects the price in Buckpool

Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Buckpool. What changes the price is:

  • How many areas need work
  • The type of damage
  • The colour and finish to match
  • Doing more than one item at once

Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Send photos for a quote

We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • What it’s made of, if you know

To get a price, send a couple of photos through our quote form or call us. We’ll say immediately whether it can be repaired.

Work for landlords and builders

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Moray and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.

When we’d advise against a repair

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before booking.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Why us?

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Everything repaired in place
  • We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
