Coloured bath resurfacing in Cam without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is typically done in one to two days. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and coloured basins, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Cam and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
Why us?
- Generally one visit, start to finish
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- We leave the room as we found it
- Same prices wherever you are
See our pricing or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.
Can I fix it myself?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
What happens on the day
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes one to two days for a full suite in most cases. We leave the room clean and you will know when it can be used.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the day after.
How to prepare
- Ensure the area is dry
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access

Advice
What we are called out for in Cam
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
What your quote should include
- What aftercare is recommended
- How your room will be protected
- How the colour is matched
- How changes to the job are handled
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. The main factors are:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The material
- The type of damage
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.
Getting a price from pictures
When you take your pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Where you are, by postcode
- One picture of the entire suite
- Natural light rather than flash
- Something in shot to show the size
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.

Other services in Cam
Work for landlords and builders
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Cam questions
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
Can tenants book a repair?
We can work for tenants, landlords or agents. Get your landlord’s agreement first.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Will you leave a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
Is there any odour?
It depends on the job, but often a little. Open windows and an extractor fan help, and it soon fades.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit usually costs less than separate visits. Include pictures of each item.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Honest limits
To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
