Repair or replace in Carmel?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Why us?
- We leave the room as we found it
- No need to remove anything
- Every repair guaranteed for a year
- One price list for the whole UK

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Carmel
Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and coloured basins.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. Just call us if there is a problem and we will come back. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we do, step by step
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Let us know about parking or access
How to get a price
Email us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you are in Carmel, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
Advice
What else we do in Carmel
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Carmel. The price depends on:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The type of damage
- What the surface is made of
- How many areas need work
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
Getting a price from pictures
Two or three clear photos are typically enough. Try to include:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- The material, if you know it
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Details of any past repairs
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.
Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

When we would advise against a repair
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.
What we work on
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
Landlord and trade work in Carmel
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
