Coloured bath resurfacing for Chalk homes

Work for landlords and builders

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Chalk as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it typically costs far less than a refit.

Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Chalk

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and people most frequently call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What affects the price in Chalk

Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Chalk. What changes the price is:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • The colour and finish to match
  • The size and number of damaged areas

We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Getting a price from pictures

You can usually get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Repair or replace in Chalk?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.

Why book with us

  • Colour-matched on site
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited

What we do, step by step

We turn up when we said we would and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

When a repair is not the answer

We’ll always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

FAQs for Chalk

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before.

Is a repair better than a new one?

In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

What happens once I’ve sent photos?

We review the photos and send a fixed quote and the next dates we have.

How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in Chalk?

Resurfacing from £350. Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it normally saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and we’ll quote them together.

What areas do you cover?

We work UK-wide, and that includes Chalk. Prices don’t change with location.

Do you come to Chalk?

Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Chalk. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
