Coloured bath resurfacing in Clase

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

What you get with us

  • No extra charge for your area
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • A year’s guarantee on all work

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Clase

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Landlord and trade work in Clase

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll handle the rest.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.

Can I fix it myself?

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Clase. The price reflects:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • The material and finish
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Clase. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

You can take the photos on your phone. Make sure they show:

  • A wider photo showing the whole suite
  • The material, if you know it
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Common questions in Clase

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before.

What happens if you find more damage?

We will show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

What areas do you cover?

All of Swansea, and the rest of the UK. There’s no extra charge for travel.

Will you leave a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Can you price it without visiting?

Nearly always. If photos don’t show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Typically, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Do you come to Clase?

Yes, we do. Repair technicians travel to Clase from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Clase?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

What your quote should include

  • What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
  • How the colour is matched
  • Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?

10 questions to ask before you book

What we cannot put right

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.

Materials we work on in Clase

  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites

The process

The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the day after.

How to prepare

  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Let us know which floor the room is on

How to get a price

The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of photos through our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.
