Before and after: an old basin refinished to bright white

Landlords, agents and businesses in Llangyfelach

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Swansea and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

When to call us in Llangyfelach

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

What to look for in a quote

  • Who will actually do the work
  • How long it needs to cure
  • What aftercare is recommended
  • How the room is protected while they work

10 questions to ask before booking

FAQs for Llangyfelach

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before.

Can you price it without visiting?

Usually, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Will there be a smell?

It depends on the job, but frequently a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.

Is my repair covered?

Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

How quickly can you book me in?

That depends on our diary for your area. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.

How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in Llangyfelach?

Prices start from £350. Every job gets a fixed quote based on photos of the damage. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your SA6 postcode.

What information do you need?

Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.

What happens if you find more damage?

The price is fixed for what the pictures show. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:

  • The material and finish
  • How many areas need work
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Getting a price from pictures

Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • One picture of the whole suite
  • The material, if you know it

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can price the job.

What a repair cannot fix

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.

What we work on

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A repair typically costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

What you get with us

  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Most jobs done in one visit

DIY kit or professional repair?

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

The process

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Allow one to two days for a full suite from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and how to look after it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

How to get a price

Send us a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your SA6 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
