When a repair isn’t the answer
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
About our coloured bath resurfacing in Coley Park
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We’re often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Coley Park as everywhere else we work. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How the visit works
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, and get on with the job, which normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we’ll explain it before carrying on.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Let us know which floor the room is on

Can I fix it myself?
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Coley Park?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
Questions to ask before you book
- How long it needs to cure
- What preparation is included
- How the colour is matched
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers

What else we do in Coley Park
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. There is no charge for travel to Coley Park. The price comes down to:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How many areas need work
No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Send pictures for a quote
You can usually get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- One sharp close-up of the damage
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
