Coloured Bath Resurfacing for Compass homes
Resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white at your home in Compass, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Coloured bath resurfacing in Compass, done in place
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
You’re covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we will explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

For landlords and businesses
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.
What affects the price in Compass
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- What the surface is made of
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How many areas need work
- Unusual colours or finishes
Compared with replacing, repairing normally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Send photos for a quote
Photographing the damage takes a minute. Try to send:
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- A wider photo showing the whole suite
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
Questions from Compass
Is there a call-out fee?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Which areas do you work in?
Everywhere in the UK, Compass included. There is no extra charge for travel.
How do I book?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the whole suite and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
What about the toilet?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners across Somerset.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Generally, yes. The old repair comes out first.
What we cannot put right
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before booking.
What we work on
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
What we do, step by step
Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, and get on with the job, which generally takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If anything looks different from your pictures, we will talk to you before going ahead.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, usually ready the following day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Let us know about parking or access
Getting a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through.

DIY kit or professional repair?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
Why us?
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Most jobs done in one visit
- Fixed prices from your photos
