Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Crapstone

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Crapstone

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour.

Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

FAQs for Crapstone

Are you accredited?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Does someone need to be in?

Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.

Can you price it without visiting?

Nearly always. If photos do not show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

What happens next?

You get a fixed price and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we will ask for another photo.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Crapstone. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Why us?

  • Same prices wherever you are
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • One visit for most repairs
  • Colour-matched on site

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. What matters most is:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • What kind of damage it is
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You will see the full price before you book, with nothing added on the day.

Quotes from your photos

Two or three clear pictures are usually enough. It helps if you send:

  • One picture of the whole suite
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can give you a fixed quote without visiting.

What happens on the day

We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes a day or two, depending on how many items for most jobs. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.

How to prepare

  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.

Honest limits

To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair will not fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.
