Coloured suite to white in Dublin, Suffolk
Coloured bath resurfacing in and around Dublin: a fixed quote from pictures, a tidy visit and a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

How the visit works
You do not need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we are doing. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
Ask for a price
You do not need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
Advice
Coloured bath resurfacing in Dublin, done in place
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our repair technicians work on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people get in touch are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Dublin and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Dublin questions
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include pictures of each item.
Does someone need to be in?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Just keep them out of the work area. We will tell you when the room can be used again.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Are there extra charges for Dublin?
No. Our quotes include travel, with the same prices everywhere we work.
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Are you accredited?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Will it make a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.
What a repair can’t fix
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
When to call us in Dublin
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
What your quote should include
- How the colour is matched
- A fixed quote, and whether VAT is included
- How changes to the job are handled
- What aftercare is recommended

DIY repairs versus a professional job
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. This is what makes a difference:
- What the surface is made of
- How many areas need work
- Access to the area
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
Rather than charging by the hour, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.
Quotes from your pictures
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Details of any past repairs
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
For landlords and businesses
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access.
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before you book.
What you get with us
