Bath Re-enamelling in Dublin
Full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing for householders, landlords and businesses in Dublin. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Resurfacing from £350

- Chips and rust in more than one place

Work for landlords and builders
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Dublin as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it generally costs far less than a refit.
Bath re-enamelling in Dublin, done in place
If your bath is sound but looks tired, re-enamelling is normally the most cost-effective option. It avoids removal, plumbing and re-tiling. We are often asked to fix enamel that’s lost its shine and feels rough and staining under the taps and around the waste, on pressed steel baths, cast iron baths and acrylic baths.
Every repair is covered by a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Suffolk.

Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a cast iron bath is a big job: it’s very heavy, may need breaking up, and the replacement can be costly. Re-enamelling avoids all of it. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking, with nothing added on the day.
Why us?
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- One price list for the whole UK
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Colour mixed on the day to match

Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

What else we do in Dublin
Looking after it afterwards
Aftercare is simple, and it makes a real difference:
- Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent
- Wipe the bath dry after use in hard water areas
- Don’t leave a chip unrepaired
- Avoid suction-cup mats
Dry the bath after use if possible, and rinse away any product left on the surface.
Rust spots on a worn bath get worse with time, and each one adds to the preparation. It’s simpler to resurface before they spread.
When to call us in Dublin
Older baths frequently have several problems at once: dull areas, chips, rust and staining. Resurfacing sorts them out together.
The most common problems we are called about are:
- An original cast iron bath that needs restoring
- Staining under the taps and around the waste
- Worn patches where water runs and sits
- A peeling or bubbling previous coating
What to look for in a quote
- How the colour is matched
- Whether a trained technician does the job
- How soon you can use it again
- If travel is included in the price
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. There’s no charge for travel to Dublin. The price comes down to:
- How many items we do on one visit
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The material
- Access to the area
Compared with replacing, repairing normally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.
Send pictures for a quote
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- Any details about the material
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- A picture taken from further back
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
When a repair is not the answer
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair will not do:
- Leaks from fittings rather than the bath
- An acrylic bath that flexes badly underfoot
- Steel that has corroded right through
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
Surfaces we repair
- Basins & shower trays
- Cast iron baths
- Victorian roll-tops
- Acrylic baths
- Pressed steel baths
What happens on the day
Here’s how a visit normally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Allow most of the day. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to care for it.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- We remove the old silicone and deep clean the bath.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- We key the bath and apply a bonding primer.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
