Coloured bath resurfacing in Dunure without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We regularly repair avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
All our work is covered by a one-year guarantee. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

When a repair isn’t the answer

- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

What affects the price in Dunure
Resurfacing from £350. There’s no charge for travel to Dunure. The price depends on:
- What the surface is made of
- The colour and finish to match
- How many areas need work
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
How to get a fixed price
You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To help us price it:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Something in shot to show the size
- What it’s made of, if you know
Most customers in Dunure get their price from pictures. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Repair or replace in Dunure?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why us?
- Same prices wherever you are
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
The process
Your technician turns up when we said we would and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.
Before we arrive
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Let us know which floor the room is on
