Coloured bath resurfacing for East Village homes

Coloured bath resurfacing in East Village without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can help, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays alike.

All our work comes with a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in the Vale of Glamorgan. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.

When we’d advise against a repair

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

How it works

Here’s how a visit usually runs: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for one to two days for a full suite. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the following day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Make sure the room can be ventilated
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat

Common questions in East Village

What happens if you find more damage?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

Which areas do you work in?

We work UK-wide, so East Village is covered. Prices don’t change with location.

Do you cover East Village?

Yes, we do. We send a technician to East Village for every job, with no extra charge for travel.

Can you quote from pictures?

Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed price without visiting.

How soon can you come?

That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.

Is the work guaranteed?

All our work carries a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.

Work for landlords and builders

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The colour and finish to match

We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for East Village. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Quotes from your pictures

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • The material, if you know it
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite

Upload a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, with your CF71 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.

There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
