Coloured bath resurfacing in Enstone

Coloured bath resurfacing in Enstone, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and common reasons people get in touch are faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Before and after: an old basin refinished to bright white

Enstone: your questions answered

Can you repair several things at once?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Generally, yes. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send photos.

Is it messy?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

What happens after I send pictures?

We come back with a fixed quote, generally with dates to choose from. You are under no obligation.

How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in Enstone?

Resurfacing from £350. We give a fixed quote from your pictures. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your OX7 postcode.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from pictures. These are the things that affect it:

  • The material
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The type of damage
  • How hard the colour is to match

There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

How to get a fixed quote

We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:

  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.

Why book with us

  • No need to remove anything
  • Same prices wherever you are

What we do, step by step

We turn up when we said we would and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Open a window if you can

When we would advise against a repair

Not everything can be repaired, and we would rather say so up front. We cannot fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites

Landlords, agents and businesses in Enstone

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Oxfordshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Can I fix it myself?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Enstone?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

Clients typically contact us about:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
