Coloured bath resurfacing in Firgo without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
You are covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
If you manage property in Firgo, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send photos for each address and we’ll price them together.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
What we can’t put right
Not everything can be repaired, and we would rather say so up front. We can’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
Surfaces we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays

Firgo questions
Is the work guaranteed?
All our work carries our one-year guarantee. We will explain what it covers when we quote.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Landlords are frequently glad to have it sorted.
Do you charge for travel?
There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Do you cover Firgo?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and travel to Firgo. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Firgo?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
Typical reasons for a call-out include:
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
Questions to ask before you book
- Who will actually do the work
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
DIY repairs versus a professional job
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Firgo. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

How the visit works
Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Allow a day or two, depending on how many items. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Clear the area around the damage
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Firgo. What changes the price is:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- How many items we do on one visit
- The type of damage
The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before booking, with no extras added later.
How to get a fixed quote
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- Details of any past repairs
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- The material, if you know it
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
Email us a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your RG28 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
