Coloured Bath Resurfacing for Gartly homes
Resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white for householders, landlords and businesses in Gartly. Free, fixed quotes from your pictures.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom

The process
We work cleanly and quietly. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes one to two days for a full suite. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Open a window if you can
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Clear the area around the damage

Common questions in Gartly
Do you work in Gartly?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to Gartly for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Do you cover the whole of Aberdeenshire?
We cover the entire UK, including Gartly and the rest of Aberdeenshire. Send your postcode with your photos and we’ll offer you dates.
Will you leave a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
How do I book?
Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
Will there be a smell?
Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, so we ventilate the room. It fades as everything cures.
How quickly can you book me in?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
What happens if you find more damage?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Work for landlords and builders
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Gartly use us as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it costs much less than replacing.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Gartly. What changes the price is:
- Doing more than one item at once
- The material and finish
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- How hard the colour is to match
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.
How to get a fixed price
The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A picture taken from further back
- Natural light rather than flash
- Details of any past repairs
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
Before you book anyone
- What protection goes down before work starts
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
- Whether the price covers travel
- When it can be used again
Repair or replace in Gartly?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Why Gartly customers choose us
- No need to remove anything
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
When a repair is not the answer
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
