Coloured bath resurfacing in Greenmeadow without replacing anything
A full suite is typically done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. If you are dealing with selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can usually put it right.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

What we do, step by step
When we visit, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job typically takes one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we’re done and let you know when you can use it again.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, usually ready the day after.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
How to get a price
For a price in Greenmeadow, the easiest route is photos: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
Advice
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Greenmeadow. What changes the price is:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- What the surface is made of
- The type of damage
- How much damage there is
We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from photos
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what we need:
- Where you are, by postcode
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- What it’s made of, if you know
- One picture of the whole suite
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, include your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed price, not an estimate.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Greenmeadow?
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.
Get in touch if you’ve noticed any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
What to look for in a quote
- How your room will be protected
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
- What aftercare is recommended
- Whether a trained technician does the job
Honest limits
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
