How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Gremista
A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are frequently asked to fix faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

When we would advise against a repair
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
What we work on
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
How the visit works
There’s not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.
Before we arrive
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Open a window if you can
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
Getting a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.
Why book with us

Work for landlords and builders
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Gremista
Is my repair covered?
All our work carries our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Do the materials smell?
Expect a mild smell while we are working that clears as it cures.
Which areas do you work in?
The entire UK, including all of the Shetland Islands. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll offer you dates.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Typically, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are frequently glad to have it sorted before the end of a tenancy.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit usually costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
