Coloured Bath Resurfacing in Gulval
Coloured bath resurfacing in and around Gulval: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. There’s no charge for travel to Gulval. The price comes down to:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- What the surface is made of
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Gulval. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed quote
Two or three clear photos are normally enough. It helps if you send:
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Any details about the material
- Where you are, by postcode
There’s no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Gulval without replacing anything
A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re covered after the visit. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit.
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- Nothing taken out or refitted
- A year’s guarantee on all work
- One visit for most repairs

Should I try a DIY kit first?
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
Gulval: your questions answered
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
How do I book?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we’ll take it from there.
Is the work guaranteed?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Normally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.
What happens next?
You will get a fixed quote back, normally with dates to choose from. You’re under no obligation.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit. Everywhere else in the home is fine.
When to call us in Gulval
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Send us a photo if you notice any of these:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
Before you book anyone
- What preparation is included
- Whether they match the colour on site
- What protection goes down before work starts
- The length of the guarantee and what it covers
What we do, step by step
Once we are through the door, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.
How to prepare
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.

What a repair can’t fix
We’d rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
