Coloured suite to white in Hanwell, Greater London
Our technicians come to Hanwell for resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white. Everything is done in place, with a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- The colour and finish to match
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How many areas need work
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Hanwell. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed quote
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- A wider photo showing the whole suite
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
Email us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you are in Hanwell, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Hanwell
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We regularly repair coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and people most often call us about a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Hanwell questions
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send pictures.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
What about the toilet?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.
Will the price change on the day?
We will show you and explain before doing anything extra. You will not be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.
Are you accredited?
We are accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
Do you work in Hanwell?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Hanwell. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
DIY kit or professional repair?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
If you manage property in Hanwell, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send pictures for each one and we will come back with a combined price.
Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Hanwell?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Keep an eye out for these signs:
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
Comparing quotes
- What protection goes down before work starts
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- How long it needs to cure
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

How the visit works
Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, protect the area, then carry out the work, which typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we’ll explain it before carrying on.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.
How to prepare
- Ensure the area is dry
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Point us to the nearest place to park
Getting a price
Most customers in Hanwell get their price from pictures. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Advice
When a repair isn’t the answer
Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. We cannot fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
