Coloured bath resurfacing in Harlequin without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

When a repair is not the answer

In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Materials we work on in Harlequin

What affects the price in Harlequin

Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:

  • How much damage there is
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • Access to the area

Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Quotes from your pictures

Phone pictures are fine. Just ensure we can see:

  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size

No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

What we do, step by step

We turn up when we said we would, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

Ask for a price

Repairing versus replacing in Harlequin

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

There’s no separate call-out charge. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.

You get a fixed quote and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
