Coloured bath resurfacing in High Street without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We work on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins, and the jobs we see most are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in High Street and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Common questions in High Street
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.
Do you work in High Street?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to High Street for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
What areas do you cover?
Everywhere in the UK, High Street included. Travel is included in the price.
Is there a call-out fee?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
How soon can you come?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
When we would advise against a repair
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Repair or replace in High Street?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is typically a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Why High Street clients choose us
- Fixed prices from your pictures
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Work done at your home or business
See our prices page and resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from pictures. These are the things that affect it:
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The material and finish
- Doing more than one item at once
- Unusual colours or finishes
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.
Quotes from your photos
Photographing the damage takes a minute. Please include:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Any details about the material
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Where you are, by postcode
Most clients in High Street get their price from photos. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.
For landlords and businesses
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

How the visit works
You do not need to empty the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. It typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, usually ready the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
