Coloured bath resurfacing in Hogaland, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is typically done in one to two days. Whether it’s faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.

We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we cannot put right

To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before you book.

Materials we work on in Hogaland

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Hogaland

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

Common reasons people in Hogaland contact us are:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Our hiring checklist

Should I try a DIY kit first?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

Common questions in Hogaland

Are you accredited?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Usually, yes. Clear photos let us give you a fixed price without visiting.

Is it messy?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.

Do you come to Hogaland?

Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Hogaland from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.

What happens once I’ve sent photos?

We look at the pictures and reply with a fixed price and some dates. If we need another angle, we’ll ask.

Do I need to be at home?

We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:

  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • The colour and finish to match
  • How many areas need work
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Quotes from your photos

The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Natural light rather than flash

There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Work for landlords and builders

If you manage property in Hogaland, we will quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we will price them together.

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Why us?

  • Honest advice, even when it means no job
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Colour-matched on site
  • Most jobs done in one visit

What happens on the day

From the moment we arrive, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes one to two days for a full suite, depending on what we find, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the following day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Point us to the nearest place to park
