  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Kelsall, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, across whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you are covered after the visit. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. Prices are worked out job by job, from your pictures. What matters most is:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The material and finish
  • What kind of damage it is

There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Send photos for a quote

Two or three clear photos are generally enough. It helps if you send:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Details of any past repairs
  • What it’s made of, if you know

Email us a photo of the damage and one of the entire item, with your CW6 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

Work for landlords and builders

If you manage property in Kelsall, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.

Common problems we fix in Kelsall

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

If you can see any of these, send us a picture:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Before you book anyone

  • What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
  • When it can be used again
  • How the colour is matched

Repairing versus replacing in Kelsall

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why us?

The process

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you are happy with the plan. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Have a window or extractor fan available

Advice

Can I fix it myself?

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
