About our coloured bath resurfacing in Kilcot
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We regularly repair coloured basins, coloured shower trays and whole bathroom suites, and people most often call us about faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Kilcot: your questions answered
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children.
Will the price change on the day?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.
What information do you need?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.
Is there a call-out fee?
We don’t add a call-out fee. Your fixed price includes everything.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit usually costs less than separate visits. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Usually, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
For landlords and businesses
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Common problems we fix in Kilcot
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Customers usually contact us about:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
What your quote should include
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
- Whether they match the colour on site
- When it can be used again
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- Work done at your home or business
- No need to remove anything
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- Fixed prices from your pictures

Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Kilcot. What changes the price is:
- Doing more than one item at once
- The type of damage
- Access to the area
- What the surface is made of
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
How to get a fixed price
You can take the pictures on your phone, there is no need for anything special. Just make sure we can see:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- The material, if you know it
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
To get a price, send a couple of pictures using our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.
How the visit works
We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes a day or two, depending on how many items. The room is left tidy.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know about parking or access
- Open a window if you can
How to get a price
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and no obligation.
