Coloured bath resurfacing in Killingworth Village without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, on coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
Every repair is covered by our one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Common questions in Killingworth Village
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Will it make a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
How do I book?
Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.
What does coloured bath resurfacing cost?
Prices start from £350. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from photos. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
Can landlords book you?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Yes, regularly. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
Work for landlords and builders
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
Honest limits
To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
Materials we work on in Killingworth Village
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- Generally one visit, start to finish
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- We come to you, anywhere in the UK
- Free fixed quotes from pictures

What we do, step by step
The work is clean and fairly quiet. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
How to prepare
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
How to get a price
To get a price, send two or three photos through our quote form or ring us. We’ll say straight away if a repair is the right fix.
Advice
Common problems we fix in Killingworth Village
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Most people get in touch after spotting something like this:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
Before you book anyone
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
- Aftercare advice
- Whether the price covers travel
- How the room is protected while they work
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. Prices are worked out job by job, from your photos. The main factors are:
- How many areas need work
- The material and finish
- The type of damage
- Doing more than one item at once
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.
How to get a fixed quote
Two or three clear photos are normally enough. It helps if you send:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- Something in shot to show the size
- Any details about the material
If you’re in Killingworth Village and want a price, the easiest route is pictures: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
