Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Lache
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour, we can help, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins alike.
You’re covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before booking. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
What else we do in Lache
What we are called out for in Lache
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Keep an eye out for these signs:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
What your quote should include
- What aftercare is recommended
- How changes to the job are handled
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
- How the colour is matched
For landlords and businesses
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll arrange it.
What happens on the day
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
How to prepare
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Clear the area around the damage
Getting a price

Lache: your questions answered
Do you cover the whole of Flintshire?
Across the UK, so Lache is covered. Our prices are the same everywhere.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
What happens after I send photos?
We review the pictures and send a fixed quote.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures cannot show what we need.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it normally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
What we cannot put right
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
Surfaces we repair
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
Repair or replace in Lache?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Why book with us
- A fixed quote before booking
- Same prices wherever you are
- We leave the room as we found it
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Lache. What changes the price is:
- What kind of damage it is
- How many items we do on one visit
- The material and finish
- How easy the damage is to reach
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed quote
You can usually get a fixed price without us visiting. To help us price it:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- The material, if you know it
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
Upload a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you are in Lache, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
