Coloured bath resurfacing in Little Singleton

Coloured bath resurfacing in Little Singleton without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. If you’re dealing with faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can help, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays alike.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Little Singleton. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Little Singleton questions

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we’ll plan for it.

Does someone need to be in?

Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.

What happens next?

You get a fixed price and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.

Is it messy?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we have finished.

How quickly can you book me in?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:

  • How many items we do on one visit
  • The material and finish
  • How hard the colour is to match
  • The size and number of damaged areas

No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Getting a price from pictures

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • Details of any past repairs
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Any details about the material

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Little Singleton?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

The things clients usually mention when they call include:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Comparing quotes

  • Whether they match the colour on site
  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
  • When it can be used again

Choosing a repair company

How the visit works

We turn up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings

Ask for a price

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

Landlord and trade work in Little Singleton

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

What a repair can’t fix

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
