Coloured bath resurfacing in Lordswood without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and the jobs we see most are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Lordswood?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour

Questions from Lordswood
Which areas do you work in?
Across the UK. Prices do not change with location.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.
How quickly can you book me in?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
How do I book?
Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Is there a call-out fee?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
What about the toilet?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. The main factors are:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- How easy the damage is to reach
- How hard the colour is to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Quotes from your photos
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Please include:
- Any details about the material
- Something in shot to show the size
- Natural light rather than flash
- One picture of the entire suite
For a price in Lordswood, the easiest route is pictures: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
How it works
We turn up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
How to prepare
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Open a window if you can

Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
Why Lordswood clients choose us
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Everything repaired in place
- One price list for the entire UK
- Work done at your home or business
See our prices page and guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.
Can I fix it myself?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
What we cannot put right
Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs will not solve:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
