Coloured bath resurfacing in Marton, done in place
Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We work on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins, and common reasons people contact us are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re covered after the visit. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. This is what makes a difference:
- The material
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Unusual colours or finishes
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.
Getting a price from photos
Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- One picture of the whole suite
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
Email us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your YO62 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Marton
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will arrange it.
What we do, step by step
We work cleanly and quietly. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Open a window if you can
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children

Advice
Questions from Marton
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
What happens after I send photos?
We look at the pictures and reply with a fixed quote and some dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.
Is it messy?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
Do you come to Marton?
Yes. We cover the whole UK and travel to Marton and the rest of North Yorkshire. Send photos and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Are you accredited?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
How do I book?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we will agree a date.
Can you quote from pictures?
Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.

When we’d advise against a repair
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair won’t do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think before you book.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays

Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
What you get with us
- A year’s guarantee on all work
- Nothing taken out or refitted
- Same prices wherever you are
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

DIY kit or professional repair?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
When to call us in Marton
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
