Coloured bath resurfacing in Millthorpe without replacing anything

A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can typically put it right, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays alike.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Why us?

  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • One price list for the entire UK

How the visit works

On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the next day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Ensure the area is dry
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. This is what makes a difference:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The type of damage
  • The material

A repair usually costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send photos and we’ll give you the exact figure.

Quotes from your pictures

We price nearly every job from photos. This is what we need:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • One picture of the entire suite

If you are in Millthorpe and want a price, the easiest route is photos: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. You’ll get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Millthorpe

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details and we will arrange it.

Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Millthorpe use us as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it normally costs far less than a refit.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

What we cannot put right

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.
