Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in New Invention

Coloured bath resurfacing in New Invention, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

Every job is backed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.

What you get with us

  • CHAS and Constructionline accredited

How the visit works

There is not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll get on with it. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work

Landlords, agents and businesses in New Invention

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

When we would advise against a repair

We’d rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so these are the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we work on in New Invention

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays

DIY kit or professional repair?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

What we are called out for in New Invention

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Questions to ask before you book

  • Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
  • How your room will be protected
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

  • The material and finish
  • Access to the area
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first

We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for New Invention. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
