Landlord and trade work in Newmains

Hospitality businesses cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.

Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Newmains without replacing anything

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour.

A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Our hiring checklist

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. You will know the full cost before booking. We look at:

  • What the surface is made of
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The type of damage
  • How many areas need work

We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Newmains. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

How to get a fixed price

Good photos mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:

  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite

Email us photos of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you are in Newmains, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

When a repair isn’t the answer

Not everything can be repaired, and we’ll tell you before we start. Repairs won’t solve:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

What you get with us

  • One price list for the whole UK
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

What happens on the day

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, do the job and clear up. Plan for one to two days for a full suite from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain when it can be used and how to look after it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

How to get a price

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
