How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Nimble Nook
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We’re often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.
All our work is covered by a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Greater Manchester. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Questions from Nimble Nook
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We will let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Will it make a mess?
We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Is there a call-out fee?
No. Our quotes include travel, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Is my repair covered?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.

The process
Visits start with a quick look at the job together, so you know exactly what we’re doing. After that, protection goes down around the work area and the work begins. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we’ll keep you posted as we go.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
How to get a price
Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a picture from further back, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. Quotes are free and you’re under no obligation.

Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
What you get with us
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- Work done at your home or business
- A year’s guarantee on all work
- No extra charge for your area

Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
What we can’t put right
Not everything can be repaired, and we would rather say so up front. Repairs will not solve:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before booking.
What we work on
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites

Work for landlords and builders
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Nimble Nook use us as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it normally costs far less than a refit.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. Each job gets its own fixed quote. This is what makes a difference:
- What kind of damage it is
- How many items we do on one visit
- The material and finish
- How hard the colour is to match
We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Nimble Nook. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
Phone photos are fine. Ensure they show:
- One picture of the whole suite
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Details of any past repairs
- What it’s made of, if you know
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price without visiting.
