Coloured bath resurfacing in North Connel

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in North Connel

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is typically done in one to two days. Whether it’s selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can help.

Peace of mind is built in: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before you book. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

How quickly can you book me in?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes, frequently. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.

What information do you need?

Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Our hiring checklist

What a repair cannot fix

It helps to know what we cannot do too:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We look at:

  • The material and finish
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for North Connel. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Getting a price from photos

When you take your pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • Any details about the material
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates

Email us photos of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you are in North Connel, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Repairing versus replacing in North Connel

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before you book.

Why us?

  • Fixed prices from your pictures
  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited

The process

When we visit, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. Expect it to take one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we’re done and tell you when it’s ready to use.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Make sure the room can be ventilated
  • Make sure the area is dry
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Can I fix it myself?

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
