We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured basins, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Old Balornock as everywhere else we work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Old Balornock questions
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
We review the photos and send a fixed quote with dates.
How soon can you come?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
Do you cover the whole of Glasgow?
The whole UK, including all of Glasgow. Just include your postcode and we’ll confirm dates.
Do you work in Old Balornock?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Old Balornock. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Will there be a smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work, which fades afterwards.
Can tenants book a repair?
Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. There is no area surcharge for Old Balornock. What changes the price is:
- How many items we do on one visit
- The material and finish
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Unusual colours or finishes
A repair generally costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.
How to get a fixed price
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage, and it saves a visit. Try to send:
- The material, if you know it
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can give you a fixed price without visiting.
Common problems we fix in Old Balornock
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
These are the problems we are asked about most:
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
What your quote should include
- How long it needs to cure
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
- The length of the guarantee and what it covers
- Aftercare advice
Repair or replace in Old Balornock?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
What you get with us
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Free fixed quotes from pictures
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
See our prices page or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.
How the visit works
We turn up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before we open a single tin. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the next day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
Ask for a price
To get a price, send a couple of photos using our quote form or ring us. We will say right away whether it can be repaired.
Advice
What a repair can’t fix
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
For landlords and businesses
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.
About our accreditations · Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee.
