Coloured bath resurfacing in Pentyrch

Coloured bath resurfacing in Pentyrch without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

FAQs for Pentyrch

Will you leave a mess?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.

How quickly can you book me in?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.

Can landlords book you?

Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners in Pentyrch.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

Your quote covers the damage in the photos. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

We look at the photos and reply with a fixed price and some dates. If we need another angle, we’ll ask.

What affects the price in Pentyrch

Resurfacing from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:

  • Access to the area
  • How many areas need work
  • The type of damage
  • How hard the colour is to match

Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.

Getting a price from pictures

Phone pictures are fine. Make sure they show:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Landlord and trade work in Pentyrch

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why book with us

  • We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

DIY repairs versus a professional job

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.

What a repair cannot fix

We will not take on work that will not last, so these are the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

How it works

We agree an arrival time beforehand. Once we are there, the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items for most jobs. We leave the room clean and you will know when it can be used.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

How to get a price

You do not need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
