Coloured bath resurfacing in Pontllanfraith without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We are often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, in coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

When we’d advise against a repair
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.

How it works
We begin by going over the job with you, so there are no surprises. After that, protection goes down around the work area and we start. It normally takes one to two days for a full suite.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings

- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour

Can I fix it myself?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

Repairing versus replacing in Pontllanfraith
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Pontllanfraith. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
