Landlord and trade work in Priston

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Priston as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Priston

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Whether it’s a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can help, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays alike.

Peace of mind is built in: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we will explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.

Why Priston clients choose us

  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

Priston: your questions answered

What do you need from me?

Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.

Are you a vetted contractor?

We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.

Is the work guaranteed?

Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it generally saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and we will quote them together.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.

Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?

Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Generally, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

Which areas do you work in?

We cover the whole UK, including Priston and the rest of Bath and North East Somerset. Just include your postcode and we’ll confirm dates.

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Priston. The price reflects:

  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The material and finish
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Doing more than one item at once

We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Quotes from your pictures

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Any details about the material

Send us a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your BA2 postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Honest limits

A repair is not always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.

Surfaces we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins

What we are called out for in Priston

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

You may need us if you’ve spotted:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

Before you book anyone

  • When it can be used again
  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • How the colour is matched
  • Aftercare advice

How to compare quotes

DIY kit or professional repair?

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

How the visit works

The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.

How to prepare

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

Ask for a price
