Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Withyditch
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people contact us are selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Withyditch and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
What we can’t put right
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Withyditch: your questions answered
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
Can pets and children be at home?
Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. If pictures do not show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.
What does coloured bath resurfacing cost?
Prices start from £350. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
How soon can you come?
We will give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
Are there extra charges for Withyditch?
We don’t add a call-out fee. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.
Are you accredited?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Can landlords book you?
Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses in Withyditch.
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:
- The colour and finish to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The material
Instead of hourly rates, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.
How to get a fixed quote
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Try to send:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- Where you are, by postcode
- Any details about the material
Most clients in Withyditch get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.
Why book with us
- We leave the room as we found it
- Free fixed quotes from pictures
- Colour-matched on site
- Typically one visit, start to finish

Common problems we fix in Withyditch
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

The process
There is not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, including clearing up.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Make sure the area is dry

Advice
Can I fix it myself?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
