Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Rushbrook

A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people get in touch are faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Questions from Rushbrook

Can you repair several things at once?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit typically costs less than separate visits. Include pictures of each item.

Can you price it without visiting?

Nearly always. If pictures do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

How soon can you come?

That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

What areas do you cover?

Everywhere in the UK, Rushbrook included. Travel is included in the price.

Do I need to be at home?

We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.

What happens once I’ve sent photos?

We come back with a fixed price, plus dates. You’re under no obligation.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.

Work for landlords and builders

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

DIY kit or professional repair?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Rushbrook

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

Signs it’s time to call us include:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

What to look for in a quote

  • What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
  • Who turns up on the day
  • The length of the guarantee and what it covers
  • How your room will be protected

Our hiring checklist

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

Why us?

  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • A fixed quote before you book
  • One price list for the entire UK
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

Take a look at our prices page and bath cost comparison.

The process

When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job generally takes one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we are done and tell you when it’s ready to use.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the following day.

How to prepare

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Ensure the area is dry

What affects the price in Rushbrook

Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • How much damage there is
  • How hard the colour is to match

A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before you book.

Send photos for a quote

Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • One picture of the entire suite
  • Something in shot to show the size

If you’re in Rushbrook and want a price, the easiest route is pictures: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.

What a repair can’t fix

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
