Coloured Bath Resurfacing for Settle homes
Coloured bath resurfacing across Settle and nearby, typically in one visit.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Settle. What changes the price is:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How many items we do on one visit
- The colour and finish to match
- The type of damage
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Quotes from your photos
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Where you are, by postcode
- Any details about the material
Email us a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you’re in Settle, and we will reply with a fixed price.
Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Settle
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are covered after the visit. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Settle
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, photos and access details and we’ll arrange it.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
When to call us in Settle
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Send us a photo if you notice any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
Questions to ask before you book
- Who will actually do the work
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
- Whether they match the colour on site
- How to look after the finish
Repair or replace in Settle?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Settle. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Why book with us
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- Every repair guaranteed for a year
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Honest limits
It helps to know what we can’t do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
What happens on the day
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we are doing. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the following day.
Before we arrive
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
Ask for a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.
Advice
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
Settle questions
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.
Do the materials smell?
A little, depending on the job. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum.
What happens next?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Yes, we frequently do. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Is a repair better than a new one?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it is not worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Of course, and it generally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we’ll quote them together.
