What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll get on with it. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items, including clearing up.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.
How to prepare
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Sontley
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can typically put it right, on coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites alike.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Sontley and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What affects the price in Sontley
Prices start from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We take into account:
- The type of damage
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The colour and finish to match
- Whether we combine several jobs
We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
Getting a price from photos
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:
- A wider photo showing the whole suite
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- One sharp close-up of the damage
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Sontley
What about the toilet?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Can you quote from photos?
Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
Is there a guarantee?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Do the materials smell?
A little, depending on the job. Open windows and an extractor fan help.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.
What happens after I send photos?
You’ll get a fixed quote back, plus dates. There is no obligation to book.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Can I fix it myself?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
Common problems we fix in Sontley
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- Faded or patchy colour
