Coloured bath resurfacing in Springhill without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and whole bathroom suites, and common reasons people get in touch are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Why book with us

DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
What we’re called out for in Springhill
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.
Look out for these signs:
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
Before you book anyone
- What protection goes down before work starts
- When it can be used again
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
Work for landlords and builders
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- How many items we do on one visit
- The material
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How easy the damage is to reach
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you’ll get a fixed figure.
Getting a price from pictures
You can usually get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- Something in shot to show the size
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- Any details about the material
- One sharp close-up of the damage
Send us photos of the damage and one of the whole item, with your ML7 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.

What else we do in Springhill
What we do, step by step
When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we are done and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
Ask for a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
