Coloured bath resurfacing for St Cadocs homes

About our coloured bath resurfacing in St Cadocs

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. If you are dealing with faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, we can usually put it right.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to St Cadocs. The price comes down to:

  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • How hard the colour is to match
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • What kind of damage it is

A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You will see the full price before you book.

Quotes from your pictures

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:

  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • What it’s made of, if you know

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Work for landlords and builders

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

If you manage property in St Cadocs, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send pictures for each one and we will price them together.

When a repair is not the answer

In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

Surfaces we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays

St Cadocs: your questions answered

How quickly can you book me in?

We will give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. You won’t be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

You will get a fixed quote back, typically with dates to choose from. You are under no obligation.

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Most of the time. Tell us what was done before.

What information do you need?

Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes, and it’s often cheaper. Send pictures of everything together and you will get one combined price.

Do you hold any accreditations?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

We can work for tenants, landlords or agents. Get your landlord’s agreement first.

Our hiring checklist

DIY repairs versus a professional job

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

How it works

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you can get on with other things while we are there.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
