Coloured bath resurfacing near Stanpit

Coloured bath resurfacing in Stanpit, done in place

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What a repair can’t fix

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Surfaces we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What you get with us

  • No extra charge for your area
  • No need to remove anything
  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Stanpit: your questions answered

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.

What about the toilet?

Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.

Do I need to be at home?

Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.

Are there extra charges for Stanpit?

There is no separate call-out charge. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

Do you hold any accreditations?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

How soon can you come?

Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We look at:

  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • The material
  • How much damage there is
  • Access to the area

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Stanpit. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A photo taken from further back
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Any details about the material
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

Can I fix it myself?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

Landlord and trade work in Stanpit

If you manage property in Stanpit, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send pictures for each one and we will come back with a combined price.

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details.

When to call us in Stanpit

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Send us a picture if you notice any of these:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

What your quote should include

  • How your room will be protected
  • Who will actually do the work
  • Whether the price covers travel
  • How the colour is matched

10 questions to ask before you book

What happens on the day

The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can stay at home while we are there. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to care for it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible

Ask for a price

There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
