Coloured suite to white in Surrex, Essex
Resurfacing coloured baths, basins and trays in white at your home in Surrex, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour

When we would advise against a repair
Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. Repairs won’t solve:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.
Surfaces we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
Coloured bath resurfacing in Surrex without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. If you’re dealing with a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can typically put it right, on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins alike.
Every repair is covered by a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we’ll arrange it.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.

Common questions in Surrex
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Do you cover the entire of Essex?
We work UK-wide, so Surrex is covered. Our prices are the same everywhere.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, we frequently do. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Do you charge for travel?
There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.
Do the materials smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Surrex. The price reflects:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Access to the area
- How hard the colour is to match
Set against the cost of replacement, repairing typically costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.
Quotes from your photos
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Any details about the material
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
You don’t need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
What we’re called out for in Surrex
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
Look out for any of the following:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
Before you book anyone
- How the room is protected while they work
- When it can be used again
- Whether the price covers travel
- How the colour is matched
Can I fix it myself?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
How the visit works
You do not need to empty the room. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we have agreed what we’re doing. It typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
Ask for a price
Most clients in Surrex get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
