Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Tafarnaubach
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
What we can’t put right
We’d rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.
Materials we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
What we do, step by step
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the next day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Open a window if you can

Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Yes, almost always. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Tafarnaubach. What changes the price is:
- What the surface is made of
- The colour and finish to match
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How many items we do on one visit
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Tafarnaubach. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Send photos for a quote
When you take your pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Details of any past repairs
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Natural light rather than flash
- One picture of the entire suite
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
